The total investment of the raw water transfer project of the water supply system of Xiaogan City in Hubei Province is 1.317 billion yuan, which is the largest single investment of a livelihood project in the history of Xiaogan. The project includes three sub-projects, such as raw water intake project, raw water pretreatment project and raw water pipeline project. After the completion of the project, the water intake capacity of the Hanjiang River water supply source will increase from 230,000 tons to 460,000 tons per day, and the water supply service area will exceed 100 square kilometers, benefiting Xiaogan's main urban area, high-tech zone, Linkong Economic Zone, Xiaonan Economic Development Zone, some townships in Xiaonan District and urban areas and townships in Yunmeng County, about 800,000 people, and effectively improving the water resources carrying capacity of Xiaogan's high-quality development. According to the requirements of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, the project is uniformly arranged by the Party Committee of Sichuan State Investment Group. Under the premise of ensuring quality and safety, priority should be given to the completion of livelihood projects as soon as possible, so as to ensure the test water opening before the end of March, and the project is fully completed and formally opened in June, so that the public can eat better quality "comfort water" as soon as possible.

As the project includes raw water intake project, raw water pretreatment project, raw water pipeline project and other three sub-projects, supporting a wide variety of valves, mainly butterfly valve, gate valve, force transfer joint, check valve, square gate, round gate, etc. The specifications have also jumped from DN200 to DN2200. In particular, 36 DN1600 metal sealed butterfly valves require the use of buried structure, which is the first in China. The project period is tight and the task is heavy! We are faced with great challenges, but all the people united as one, with strong fighting spirit and professional literacy, successfully overcome one problem after another, timely delivery of products to the site, for the smooth completion of the project laid a good foundation.
