Open the solenoid valve at the inlet end of the lower diaphragm chamber, and the pressure water enters the lower diaphragm chamber. Since the flow at the inlet end of the lower diaphragm chamber is greater than the flow of the ball valve at the outlet end, the pressure difference generated pushes the diaphragm and the diaphragm pressure plate to drive the valve stem and valve plate to open the sludge discharge valve upwards. When the solenoid valve is closed, the pressure water in the lower diaphragm chamber is discharged through the ball valve at the outlet end. There is no pressure in the lower diaphragm chamber. Under the action of the spring in the upper diaphragm chamber, the diaphragm and the diaphragm pressure plate are pushed to drive the valve stem and valve plate to close the sludge discharge valve downwards.


Product Application

This valve adopts a double-chamber diaphragm transmission mechanism. The valve opens smoothly and quickly without motion wear and does not require lubrication. There is no mechanical wear and no rubber products that need to be replaced regularly. It is durable and has a long service life. A two-position two-way solenoid valve or ball valve is installed at the inlet of the lower diaphragm chamber of the valve to operate the opening and closing of the sludge discharge valve. A ball valve with adjustable opening is installed at the outlet of the lower diaphragm chamber to control the opening and closing time of the sludge discharge valve. The driving medium of this valve is pressure water or air, which can directly use the water source of tap water or the air source of an air pump. It is easy to operate and can achieve remote automatic control and centralized control. When the driving medium is cut off from water or air, the valve can always be ensured to be in the closed state. This product is generally commonly used at the bottom of the sedimentation tank of a water plant to discharge the sediment and dirt at the bottom of the tank. This valve has the characteristics of quick opening and slow closing, good sealing performance, and anti-sticking and durability.
