Top-mounted eccentric hemispherical valve

The top-mounted eccentric hemispherical valve is a new product successfully developed after absorbing and digesting advanced technologies at home and abroad. It fixes the metal ball crown on the eccentric sphere. Through the 90° rotation of the eccentric crankshaft, the opening and closing of the valve are achieved. The metal valve seat in contact with the sealing surface of the metal ball crown floats axially and radially to compensate for the fit between the ball crown and the valve seat. This valve is applied in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, and metallurgy. The valve structure adopts the eccentric wedging principle. Through the transmission mechanism, the purposes of clamping, regulating, and closing are achieved. Both the sealing ring and the ball crown are metal face ring bands with hard face contact sealing. For the double eccentric structure valve, when it is opened, the sphere is hidden in the valve cavity, the flow cross-section is large, and the valve is not eroded, resulting in low flow resistance. When closing, the valve core is not eroded. When closing, the spherical surface of the valve core gradually approaches the valve seat, having a shearing function, effectively removing scaling obstacles and achieving reliable sealing. It is particularly effective for the transportation of media that is prone to scaling. In this valve, the hemispherical part is to fix the metal ball crown on the eccentric sphere. Different alloy ball crowns are installed on the sphere, and the valve seat is also correspondingly surfacing welded with alloy. After special treatment, the sealing surface is combined into various types such as anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, and high-temperature resistant to meet the needs of different occasions. There is a compensation amount left between the valve seat and the ball crown. When the valve seat is worn, after closing, a little more rotation can still achieve reliable sealing, extending the service life. The biggest feature of this valve is that after the pressure in the working condition device system is relieved, the valve can be inspected and maintained online. During maintenance, only the valve cover needs to be opened and the ball crown and support body need to be lifted out without having to remove the entire valve from the pipeline.

It is suitable for systems with strict requirements such as clean water, raw water (containing sand and mud), sewage, seawater, distilled water, oil, alumina, urban heating and hot water supply, etc.

The applicable temperature of the soft seal eccentric hemispherical valve is -40°C to 200°C; while the applicable temperature of the hard seal eccentric hemispherical valve is from normal temperature to about 600°C.

It is suitable for the bottom emptying valve and control valve of the dam (under high flow rate conditions), coal powder ash slag, and is suitable for the industrial pipeline transportation of liquid-solid two-phase mixed flow or liquid transportation where there is crystallization precipitation or scaling during chemical reactions. Product structure characteristics: According to the different requirements of customers for media and temperature, the ball crown adopts chromium-molybdenum and vanadium alloys, and the valve seat is surfacing welded with chromium-molybdenum alloy, chromium alloy, and stainless steel alloy to meet the needs of different slurry transportation.

It is suitable for valves in pump transportation systems, such as pressurization systems and central air-conditioning systems.

It is suitable for underground pipelines such as tap water systems, gas systems, and natural gas systems.
